Why Recycled Plastic Playgrounds?

Our plastic lumber, is made with 100% recycled plastics , diverting millions pounds of plastic from landfills. Recycled Plastic Lumber is our structural material for supports, posts, and decks, comprising approximately 75-91% of the weight of each play structure. All lumber is blended with non-toxic UV Stabilizers and Colorants for uniform, lasting color.

Our 100% recycled plastic product utilizes high quality HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) to create a long lasting product.

In addition some of products contain framing materials that are made of wood.

Pressure-Treated Pine Lumber is treated to protect it from termites, fungal decay and rot.  The pine we use is:

  • Made of Southern Pine
  • Micronized copper azole pressure-treated for protection against termites, rot and fungal decay
  • Smooth texture
  • Good for decks, play structures, raised beds, planter boxes, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor furniture, landscaping and other outdoor projects where lumber is exposed to the elements
  • Paintable
  • Stainable
