The PlayMore Rainbow Chime Unit has eight colorful chimes, in the F Major Diatonic scale (F, G, A, Bb, C, D, E, F). The pitches provide a professional sound quality, far superior to toy chimes. The chimes are powder coated for a durable and vibrant color finish. The colors for the first seven chimes follow the colors of a rainbow. Teach the Rainbow colors with the acronym “Roy G. Biv” which stands for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. The eighth chime resolves the octave and is colored red for the F note. The chimes can be played by bumping them against the striker bars or with the attached recycled plastic mallets.
