Safety & Quality

Safety

In our effort to build quality playground products, we consider safety our primary design and construction concern. Our equipment conforms to ASTM (American Society of Testing and Measures), ADA compliance and CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Commission) guidelines for playground safety, when installed properly. In fact, our design, administrative, and production management employees are NPSI (National Playground Safety Institute) Certified Playground Safety Inspectors.

To help you understand what some of these issues are, we recommend you read CPSC’s Publication 325 (this article is a PDF file). You should also consider the resources available from the National Program for Playground Safety.

Professional Leadership

In order to remain in the vanguard of our industry, we participate in various professional organizations. We are member of the IPEMA (International Playground Equipment Manufacturers Association), ASTM International and the NRPA (National Recreation and Park Association.) These organizations are dedicated to the sharing of information to make playgrounds safer and more sound.

Accessibility

Through the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), federal law stipulates that playgrounds and equipment must be accessible to people with disablites. Thus we design and build our equipment accordingly. This is an extremely important consideration both in the design of playground equipment and in the layout of your particular site. You should peruse the ADA Accessibility guidelines to determine your specific requirements. At that point, we can help you better choose your playground structures.
